Y'know, I don't even know if I should rant about a certain deviation of mine being moved to Scraps even though it's a desktop screen shot, like so many others, where people took screen caps of their desktop, of pictures not made by themselves yet are valid desktop screen caps, and posted them as a desktop screen shot.

Does this have anything to do with it being my most popular deviation?

...Then again, I'm not out here to run a popularity contest. I'm glad it had such an awesome reception. I guess I could try to figure out how else to make it acceptable as a desktop screen shot. I've already edited it once to make sure it fit the rules, I thought I got it right that time.

I'm sorry I've been too busy with Real Life to be around more often and keep on top of these kinds of things. My job is sucking the creativity out of me. The most I can manage these days is an RPG post every other day or so. Fic? Ha. ...Some day I'll get back to it again.

Edit: Certain Desktop Screen Shot has been edited! I'm not moving it back into the gallery yet, though, I guess I'll play it safe for a little longer. *Patpats her poor maligned, yet loved, Desktop Screen Shot*


Edit the Second: Dear DeviantArt: STOP CHANGING THINGS. Good job, I can't scroll through my Deviation list to set a new Featured if it comes after "G" in the alphabet. FAIL FAIL FAILITY FAIL. I grieve now. -_-

Edit the Third: Okay, seriously, you can't tell me this doesn't have something to do with a popularity issue. I'm looking over the rest of my desktop screen shots, and the very one I had displayed on my front page as Featured Wallpaper, good ol' Captain Lennox, didn't even have my Dock showing, yet it was passed right over for the one with the most hits. Of course, I have now uploaded a new version of the Lennox desktop, and will be either replacing or deleting the rest of my desktop screen shots.

I think I just won't bother sharing my geekiness anymore via desktop screen shots. I've got better things to do tonight than nitpick my screen caps of desktop screen shots.
