This is The Rising, a September 11th memorial at the Kensico Dam in Valhalla, New York. It was built in honor of the residents of Westchester County, NY, who died on that day.
Photo taken 11/23/08. I almost wish I had waited for the sun to line up better with the top of the structure, but what I did capture lends a nice effect. |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces.
